Y2AM is the Department of Youth and Young Adult Ministries and the Office of Camping Ministries of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America.

Our mission is simple: to introduce youth and young adults to Christ, as well as challenge them to live their relationship with the Lord and His Church on a daily basis.

We’ve been doing this through a variety of online and in-person resources.  Our videos, podcasts, and blogs are making a difference in the lives of thousands of people across the globe, on a weekly basis.  They’re offering youth and young adults a way to understand Christ as they never have before, and the inspiration to deepen their relationship with Him.

Just like Saints Cyril and Methodius shared the Gospel by translating it into a language people could understand, we’re working hard to express the depth and beauty of the Gospel in a way that people can understand today.  And it’s work, to the glory of God, as those already in the Church deepen their relationship, and new people find the Lord because of these simple, Christ-centered offerings.

We’re also making an effort to meet people face-to-face, as we travel the country leading retreats and offering talks and lectures.  Our monthly “Be the Bee” retreats (or “Beetreats”) in particular have offered thousands of youth, parents, youth workers, and young adults a chance to connect with Christ and other area Orthodox Christians.

Looking ahead, we hope to continue to develop the tools that will help people better know Christ, as well as continue to help camp- and parish-based ministry offer the youth and young adults in our care the most complete, healthy, and uplifting Christ-centered experiences possible.

Glory to God for all things!
